Strawberries Dipped in Chocolate & Icing

This is not really a recipe – it is just a more colorful idea to serving delicious strawberries to your loved ones. The icing recipe for here is super simple too.


  • 500 gram strawberries - فراولة
  • 200 gram chocolate bar (milk chocolate - roughly chopped) - لوح شكولاته
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract - خلاصة الفانيليا
  • 1 tablespoon butter - زبدة
  • 1/4 cup cream - قشطة
  • 1/2 cup Icing:
  • 1 cup icing sugar - سكر بودرة
  • 3 tablespoon full cream milk - لبن كامل الدسم
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract - خلاصة الفانيليا

Step by step

  1. Melt your favorite pure milk or dark chocolate by placing chunks, cream and butter together in a small pot over low heat. Stir repeatedly and stay next to pot so it doesn't burn. As soon as it is all melted and combined (about 2-3 minutes), take it off the heat and set aside to cool for a couple if minutes.
  2. Pour chocolate into mini cupcake papers or tiny bowls. Dip one or two strawberries into the chocolate.
  3. Using a handheld mixer, blend all icing ingredients for about 2-3 minutes until all is properly combined. You can add more sugar to thicken it or more milk to liquidize it.
  4. Pour icing mix in the mini cupcake papers or tiny bowls and dip strawberries on top.
  5. Arrange the chocolate and icing strawberries on a tray or flat plate. You can garnish icing strawberries by dusting cocoa and chocolate strawberries with icing sugar.
